Hi Accudemia Users! Each Accudemia user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.

Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

  1. Can there be a way for students and other users to see when tutoring is available by course without having to go through the process of making an appointment?

  2. Please allow an option to make students add comments when making an appointment. Right now it is optional, but we would like to ability to make it mandatory to add comments depending on center.

  3. Allow for the pronoun field of an account's name badge to be added into email templates. Tutors and students have asked us for this feature.

  4. Currently tutor schedule won't allow tutors to view the courses or services they have been assigned if the admin settings don't let them modify their schedule. This is problematic because they need to be able to see the courses and services they have been assigned at different times. Please allow tutors to view these things even if the admin settings won't allow them to modify their schedule.

  5. On the tutor schedule, in "Event Information", the "Scheduled As" drop-down menu should include a drop-in option that will display for students as a non-reservable tutoring option.

  6. Currently, students are unable to see if a tutor already has an appointment scheduled on the homepage availability module. Currently, all appointments, open or scheduled, are displayed as the same green blocks; there is no differentiation between the two. The module should mirror the administrator view to show students that an appointment is scheduled, but not show them the appointment details. The legend should include the difference between an open appointment vs. a scheduled appointment.

  7. We would like the ability to personalize the notifications for the support drop-box function. Including choosing where the email comes from. Currently, it cannot be customized to use our own wording and comes from Accudemia rather than our campus and the wording doesn't match the terminology we customized for the drop box.

  8. Revise the "Forgot your password?" link at the log in screen to include language for first time users. (My institution does not have single sign on.) Possibly "Set/forgot password" or something to indicate a password must be set by the student before they can log in.

  10. I'd like a report that allows me to see appointments that were scheduled on a particular day/range (i.e., appointments students scheduled yesterday). This is different than the currently existing options to report on appointments scheduled for a certain date/range (i.e., appointments students scheduled for tomorrow). This would be really helpful as a new Accudemia user as we're making updates to restrictions, offerings, etc. to see if they're working as intended in our real world application rather than only in limited testing scenarios.

  11. The upcoming appointments displays the times of the upcoming appointments but does not display the date. The display seems as though the upcoming appointments are on the same day. The message in # days is very small - a date would be better.

  12. Under Center Attendance -> Tutor Schedule, all the modes display with weeks beginning on Monday and ending on Sunday. Every other calendar in Accudemia has a Sunday-Saturday format. There should be consistency, with the weekly calendar in the Tutor Schedule section being displayed Sunday-Saturday.

  13. The Attendance Summary report has exactly the information we need for each course (# of unique students and total visits), but we can only filter by location. Our location has multiple services that support the same courses, and we'd like to be able to look at data separately for each service.

  14. Currently Appointments has a month, and Session Logs has the last 7 days. Staff who manage an active center have to change those to Today repeatedly.

    Wouldn't Today be a better default for this very important Use Case?

  15. Currently, only weekly appointment settings can be set per center. Some centers are very busy, and would therefore benefit from a daily appointment cap as it would allow them to ensure that students cannot make back-to-back appointments or several appointments in a single day.

  16. Create a waiting list for when tutoring appointments for a given course are are all booked. When students want to sign-up for a tutoring appointment, but the appointments are already booked up by other students, create a feature where students can sign-up to receive a notification when appointments become available if students cancel their appointments or if new open tutoring appointments are added. This would allow center admin to track how many students are in the waiting list and so consider whether to open up more tutoring appointments and also for tutoring appointments could be utilized more because students who…

  17. Tutors fill out tutor assessments for all emailed essays, which are currently recorded in session logs. I send reports of the tutor assessments to instructors. We would like to explore using the support drop box instead of emailed essays but tutors cannot fill out tutor assessments on tickets. Can we add tutor assessments similar to session logs in the closed ticket section?

  18. Show preferred name at kiosk and in logs for students.

    We have students, trans and otherwise, who do not go by the legal name on their transcripts. It is extremely disruptive to them when accudemia deadnames them every time the legal name overrides thier preferred name. For example I have a tutor who goes by a different name and he has to tell students his deadname whenever they signout and have to select a tutor. It makes the center look like an unsafe space.

  19. The attendance summary report has the key information that we need, but we need to be able to filter that report by user group, which is not currently available. Essentially, we need to see the number of visits for each user group, not just the total time used, which is not available in any of the current reports.

  20. Our college has several learning centers using Accudemia. Each has unique needs and ways in which they operate. Therefore, each center needs to control the number of services allowed to be selected at sign-in. This is currently a college-level control and thus this has to be uniform for all centers. However, some centers would prefer to limit this to only one service, others want to allow students to select multiple services.
