Accudemia Suggestions

Hi Accudemia Users! Each Accudemia user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.

Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

  1. Develop LTI for Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle, etc. This would allow students to pass through their course to make an appointment, join session, etc.

  2. Consider adding sort headers for last name, first name, assigned to, instructor, date, etc. so entries can be sorted. It's difficult to identify when multiple referrals exist for the same student without the ability to sort on screen.

  3. I would like a report to show tutor coverage per course on a weekly basis. This would help when building out new semesters. I would also like to be able to pull a monthly report that shows tutor schedule exceptions (when they were blocked out versus when they were scheduled to be in).

  4. Tutors need to be able to view the entrance questions as they are related to the session. They can only see it if we run the report as an admin or we give them admin access to all surveys but they should not have that much access.

  5. Create a faculty academic advisor setting in which the faculty advisor can see the comments, referral forms and services used for only their own assigned advisees.

  6. When students move from walk-in/waiting line to signed in section to be notified (not sure how but maybe app or Accudemia alert notification) that they are going to be called shortly regardless on how they signed in (virtually or in person). Our wait times can vary by 15mins 2.5 hours and they often don't know they are about to be called and miss our call. Due to demand, we move on to the next student and they have to resign-in.

  7. This would maybe take some AI power or something but maybe having a section that suggests reports to run based on data collected by the software so far would be helpful for new users looking into what reports would be best.

  8. Currently in Accudemia, you can only set the number of minutes that a student can sign in early at a global level. I would like to be able to set that level at the classroom or class level. You can effectively set it at the classroom level in iAccu because the settings in iAccu only effect the classroom in which it is used.

  9. Force a user to agree to certain terms and conditions before entering the center. Such as a fitness center. This requires the student or user to agree to the safety regulations before they can sign in. If they don't agree they can then leave. Have the option to have the terms and condition show up once or multiple times.

  11. When scheduling a new appt, the student should be provided an additional option to choose the location or room. Oftentimes, tutors are in multiple locations.

  12. currently only one to one, profile:usergroup for imports. We need to run multiple imports for our needs. allowing multiple mapping for user groups would be more efficient.

  13. Profiles/Demographics
    1. We need something for our Accudemia clients like "Profile Query" in AccuTrack. This allows them to create Student Groups based on Profile responses.
    2. The Detailed Profile report is great if wanting to re-import as Student Groups in Accudemia but they would like another report option that is exported in MS Excel as a grid (see attachment).
    3. Only Student Groups can be used on most reports they would like to be able to just filter on Profile responses on the reports.

  14. Tutor's My Schedule view not showing any details

    When I (as a tutor) look at my schedule, I only see the duration of scheduled appointments. It would be very useful to have the same pop-up as our Center Administrators see in the Daily Viewer when they mouse over an appointment.

  16. In the email templates we can put key field values into the Subject line. It'd be great to be able to put them in the From line as well. That way we can be more specific, e.g. From: #Appointment_Center# at the College.

  18. I would like to have the ability to create a unique link for a sign-in station and not the cookie method. We use cheap Chromebooks as sign-in station computers and when the Chromebooks restart, they lose the cookie due to the kiosk mode we are using. I can set up the Chromebook to automatically load a predetermined link for each center using the google admin console. By using a unique link I would not have to set it up every time it reboots.

  19. Our virtual services include some tutors who have sessions using Google Chat and we would like to include some how-to information in the appointment emails. Other colleges could have different information related to tutors that is pertinent to appointments. If a Description field could be added and made available in Email Templates, it would enable us to provide that tutor-information to students without extra communications.

  20. In the Appointment Details window, there are 10 labels. All except "Services:" are singular; that one item is plural. Please make it conform.
    (Same problem in "Quick/New appt (admin)"; might also be an issue in email templates)
