Accudemia Announcements for each area have a "Display Position Number"
By adding a "Display Position Number" in a drop-down box with the number of announcements currently in Accudemia it would be a simple way to allow a College Administrator to organize the announcements that get displayed on the "My Homepage" screen when the users login.

Add a confirmation sound when someone signs in on the sign-in station
One sound for successful sign-in and a different one for failed would make it easier to confirm.

Develop a version of Accudemia Data Exchange for Linux
According to your 8/3/2010 blog it was under development and now it is 7 years later. Many, if not most, ERPs run in Linux. I can't imagine my institution is the only one not happy about having to have an intermediary Windows server for transferring files. Thank you for listening.
3 votesSorry, but you are the only one who contacted us asking for a Linux utility. Because of the lack of interest, we do not plan to develop it.

Allow assessment to be based on service
For example, my writing tutors could have a checklist of common writing issues so they can indicate what was worked on. Coaching sessions need their own sort of assessment as well. All of these happen in the same physical center but the services are very distinct.

Appointments appear in Green:in-session (instead of Red:no show) until they are signed-out
Appointments who are signed in appear in red (a no show color) until they are signed out and then turn to blue. It can be confusing for signed in students to appear in red as a no show when they are actually in session. Perhaps appointments can appear green while their in session until they are signed out and go back to blue.
3 votesYou can customize the appointment settings to avoid this by not requiring a sign-out. Then they will appear green as soon as they sign-in.

keep an email log showing all sent items from accudemia
This would be a simple list that shows what emails are generated by accudemia and if possible add whether the recipient has received them.
3 votesWe implemented this idea in AccuCampus.

Include section numbers in reports, or choose what you want included in your reports.
For our tutoring assessment forms, we don't have the ability to include section numbers, and many of our instructors teach multiple sections of the same class, so there is a lot of leg work in including the section number on our side or theirs.
Being able to choose what information I can get in my reports would be incredibly beneficial to the instructors and myself. At the moment, I find most of the pre-determined reports to be lacking in vital information.

Allow tutors to select why they are there when signing in
This would be similar to what is done in AccuTrack with "Tutor Tasks."

Add cancel and reschedule buttons to the Appointment Details panel.
Instead of requiring the student (or staff) to click "View All" to get to the Edit/Cancel/Reschedule options, put those buttons right in the Appointment Details panel that opens when the appointment is clicked on the main screen. I've had students request a cancellation by typing in the appointment notes since they did not find the cancel button.

Daily Viewer by Tutor Content Area
Since we have tutors for different content areas (Math, Science, Business, and Computer Science), I would like to be able to generate a daily viewer by the content area of the tutors. It would also work to make the option to select multiple tutors when looking at the tutor schedule. That way I can let students know when there would be someone in the center to help with a certain subject.

Add a rule in the ADX import tool that ignores inactivating students what have other roles when selecting the inactivate option.
Some instructors also take courses, but their account gets deactivated when they are no longer enrolled. Ignoring the deactivation checkbox when a student account has additional user roles would prevent this.

Allow Customization of Reports
i.e. selecting all tutors but printing Tutor Hours on separate pages instead of all on one page
3 votesUnfortunately this is too complex to implement. It is possible to add a new report with one person per page layout.

Allow more reports to be exported through the Accudemia Data Exchange
Specifically the Referral Summary and the Session Log with Surveys Results Incl. Student Data reports. That would allow me to schedule the export of those to be saved in a specified directory as opposed to the scheduled email of those reports.

Allow tutors to add their own subject assignments to their account.
Currently, the system acts like tutors are able to add subject assignments to their accounts and save them but they are actually not saved. I'm certain they were able to add them in the past because I did not do it for them. Now they are unable to manage them.

In the Tutor Assignments Report in the Administration section, include the tutors' schedules.
This would be helpful to send to students and instructors possible tutoring times for a specific course.

We need separate email templates for student scheduling face-to-face appointments and for those scheduling online appointments.
Sometimes students get confused and join with the link instead of showing up for a face-to-face appointment.

When running a report for "Referral Details" it would be good to be able to filter results by groups created.
Adding "Groups" as a filter for reports under "Referral Details". This is something that can be done with other reports, but not this one. This is is where it would help to have it. This would make filter information to the key groups easier and save time. Since it can be done for other reports, I'm hoping it can be something that can be added to this.

allow only certain Student Groups to make Appointments/Walk-ins for specific Services.
Currently I can only limit the Subject Areas to show based on the Subject Areas we offer assistance with at the Center. I would like to be able to define what Student Groups can utilize specified Services for Walk-ins or Appointments.
