Accudemia Suggestions

Hi Accudemia Users! Each Accudemia user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.

Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

  1. Basically in the Appointment Restrictions in the Control Panel at the "College Level" we should be able to disable certain Appointment Schedulers we would like them to use. Add checkboxes that can be selected for "New By Tutor", "New by Date", and "Appointment Wizard".

  4. I think that the Edit Session Logs is too much access and would like a little less for a group of my tutors. By adding a "View" option this would accomplish this for my staff.

  5. We have many advisors or tutors that work for one center at different physical locations. We need ability to put this information on the schedule and for student to see this locations when scheduling an appt.

When you go to the “Session Log”, there is no way to tell if a student’s visit was a regular kiosk log-in (for whatever purpose they selected, such as independing study) or a tutoring appointment they made and are coming to (which the kiosk checked them in for). Please add a column of “Appointment” that would be automatically checked yes/no,

  8. Some learning center can be assigned all of our subjects. This means 1500+ subjects. The issue is that the subject tab disappears once 1000 subject areas are checked. The issue is then the learning center admin can no longer administer the subjects and must rely on IT department to create a script & upload subjects per learning center.

    What if a new subject is added? How does an admin add that subject area. Or what if a learning center needs 1200 subject areas and not all subject areas?

  10. We only want our students to schedule 30 minute or 60 minute appointments and at the moment they can schedule 30, 35, 40, 45, etc. minute appointments. If we could specify the appointment segments allowed this would prevent them from being able to create odd appt. times.

  13. Once the referral has been closed you have to either pull the report or reopen the referral in order to view what happened. We should have an option to see all the referral notes as Admins even if the referral is closed.

  14. My Tutors think that they've added to their "Session Comments" in the Session Logs but have actually just updated the "Appointment Notes" in the Appointment "View All" section. To avoid confusion in the similar looking screens maybe this button should reflect "Notes."

  16. In the Intake System, it shows subject area but not services. Some centers use services and not subject areas for drop ins. We also have centers that have drop in appointments but also have a computer lab that people come and use. When using the intake system, students come in to use the lab and choose computer lab from the services area. Students that have to wait for an advisor choose counseling from the subject area. We would like the students that choose no subject area to be automatically checked in. Currently we have to have the front desk administrator…

  17. We can delete students in bulk from within the system but what about inactivating them? I only see how I can do this outside of the system in the ADX tool.

  19. In the Administration > Control Panel > Walk-ins Settings under the Tutor Selection options it displays "Use Registration Information" which should state "Use Tutor Assignments" to avoid confusing this setting with Student Registration.
