Connect the referral to the appointment system and/or the center
When a referral exists, it would be nice if the system notified the user when the student swipes in that a referral is pending. This would allow us to connect the referral to the visit at the time of the visit instead of after the visit.

Add ability to create remote sign in links with predefined In & Out times.
It would be fantastic to create a remote sign in link that has a set start & end time so that attendees can click the link and it creates a log with in and out times predefined.
Example: If Mary is a SI Leader hosting a MATH 1551 session on Tuesday, 4/20/21 from 5-6pm, we could create a link with predefined service (SI), Subject Area (MATH 1551), Tutor (Mary), Session Start Time (4/20/21 05:00 PM), Session End Time (4/20/21 06:00 PM).
There are multiple benefits:
1. Students could only use the link between the predefined start & end times (maybe…27 votesI don't see how this is possible because a general link cannot identify the student who clicks it.
Creating and tracking a unique link per student per appointment will take a lot more work than asking the students to sign in to the session.
Perhaps we can solve this issue in a different way. For example, we can allow the students to self sign into the session using the new Accudemia app. That would work because they would be signed into the app and can be identified.

Allow individuals to have data entry and reporting access for multiple centers
We have individuals who are primarily responsible for areas but who may also need access to other centers. At this time, we cannot assign them to have access to multiple centers, and it would be awesome if we could!
15 votesThis was implemented in AccuCampus, our institution-wide system. In Accudemia, you’d need to create two accounts for the person working in two centers (one for each). You can also use Location Groups as Nick suggested. Our support department can help in moving an existing center/ location to a location group.

Add support for Shibboleth or CAS authentication for SSO authentication
Supporting one of these would help make SSO a reality for our college. They are trusted ways to securely transmit SSO data from LDAP or SAML to your services.
14 votesWe already support SAML, Canvas (OATH2), and our proprietary SSO methods.

Create the ability to Manage Notifications - Create a weekly & daily digest of all early alert updates
There are way too main emails that get sent out everytime anyone touches the early alert file. This is good for closing the loop, but it creates a lot of needless little updates. I would like to see this addressed by giving the updater the option to contact everyone on the alert or not and for those recieving alerts to be given the option to manage their notifications. What I mean is that if someone wants to be notifiied everytime an alert is followed up on they could get an email for that, but if they just wanted to get…

Enroll Student Groups in a Course similar to AccuSQL instead of importing an enrollment import or manually selecting 100+ students.

Add the ability to set appointment schedule versus walk-in schedule
At the moment when you set a tutor's schedule you can set it for the tutor based on their availability in the subject area, service, and center. Could we make the schedule also reflect whether or not they are available for appointments. I know we can set the max number of students or if they can meet with an unlimited number of students, but not specifically for appointments versus walk-ins.

Add a Purge option to Accudemia
Add a Purge option to Accudemia to allow us to remove Students and really any records older than a specified time that we no longer need to keep track of in Accudemia. This will help keep the information we have online to a minimum and remove unnecessary information from the database.

I would like to be able to view and manage my tutor/staff schedules on one screen.
Right now when looking up staff schedules I have to enter at least one person to look-up their schedule. I would like to not have to put in a tutor/staff name to look-up all their schedules for a center. They could be displayed one after another or overlapped on the calendar.
11 votesFor several reasons, this would be difficult to implement in Accudemia.

Allow appointment blocks to be different by center
Right now the time blocks are in 30 minute increments at the college level. Some centers want to have 30 minute appointments and some want 60 or 90 minute appointments. This means for anything longer than 30 minutes they have to choose the first half hour block. If we show that the appointment is available for the 60 minute appointment, the student may book the second half hour and miss the first half hour of the appointment.
11 votesToo complex on the system.

All time as an option for student attendance reporting
When students run a report for their attendance, "All Time" should be an option to include all events they have attended. Otherwise you have to put in "As Entered" and put the date they first arrived at the college, which they don't always know.
9 votesYou can use the “As Entered” date and put any start date (e.g. year 2000) to include all records.

Give email templates HTML options
Allow admins to format the text in the email templates so that formatting text font sizes or properties is an option. (This will allow some information to have greater emphasis).

Have a manual process that would allow you to merge two duplicate users so as to not lose attendance info.

add filter to session log by professor so we can email the comments from the tutors to the professor
On the session comments report configuration allow a filter for instructor/professor so the comments can be shared via email to the professor.

Change Who's In to show Services and Instructors on page and not have to hover over View to see
We would like to be able to go to the Who’s In page and see what services the students are using and their instructors without having to hover over the View under details. This would allow us to sort by service or instructor.
7 votesIts designed that way because of space limitations.

allow and/or require students to select multiple subjects at sign-in
We have lab courses that students must enroll in to receive tutoring, and we need to manage the hours students accrue in these courses. We need to be able to also manage the tutoring services for the academic courses, and currently only one can be chosen by the student at sign-in.
7 votesUnfortunately this would have big impact on the system as it requires changing all the reports, so it is too complicated to implement.

Add Early Alerts as content to Home Page
The way we can add Surveys and appts to the home page as content, It would be nice to have one that would show early alerts for the logged in user. Maybe the referrals that are awaiting follow-up by them.

Add the option to set max appointments per week per course (and/or service and/or tutor).
Currently there is an option to set maximum hours or maximum number of appointments per week per center. This is overall, regardless of the courses tutored or services used. Making a restriction per class is a fairer approach since some students take only one class and others take up to five (and should be able to get more help). Centers may also want to set limits per service and/or limits per tutor. For example, our policy is to permit 3 appointments per week per class, but only 2 appointments per week per class with the same tutor. We're having to…

allow for an email/text notification to be sent automatically to a supervisor if a tutor logs in late or logs out early for a shift.
As a supervisor who is not physically in the same space as the lab I have been tasked to supervise, one of the most important features of this software is to help monitor and enforce tutor timeliness and attendance.
It would be great if a reminder email could automatically be sent to students 15 minutes before each shift to let them know their shift is approaching.

Create an app that allows tutors and students to access Accudemia through their smart phone.
Most students carry their smart phone everywhere they go. Allowing them to create appointments without having to access a computer would be very helpful.
