Accudemia Suggestions

Hi Accudemia Users! Each Accudemia user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.

Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

  1. We would like to be able to set specific appointment times by Center and by Service. For example, if a student selects that they're here to see a tutor/advisor for Service X (which might take longer like an initial intake appointment), they automatically get 60 minute appointment blocks to choose from vs another student who chooses Service Y (something like perhaps just a question on a course), so they are presented with 30 minute appointment blocks.   2. Currently, our SIS allows students to enter their preferred name but Accudemia does not have space for the name to be listed. This is especially complex for our transgender students who may be identifying as a different gender than their name may suggest.

  4. Scheduled reports can't be modified once created. Any changes require a new scheduled report to be created. Sometimes people come and go so having the ability to update the distribution list, as an example, without recreating the entire schedule would be helpful.

  5. Right now when the Intake system is turned on every person is through into the waiting line. Instead if you could set up the waiting line to be built based on a service. So if you have two services Tutoring and Computer Use. The Tuoring people would go into the line and the people using Computers would by pass the line.

    We currently offer this but you have to view the intake system to see the service.  We will add a service filter to the intake system/manage center screen to make this easier

  7. we run our student sign on in KIOSK mode - we only want student check in - no other functions - we are able to hide other icons - but need to hide ADMIN LOGIN and PWD RESET icons in the foot of the Sign-On Page as well.........

  8. We would like to be able to hide certain active services on the kiosk/sign-in screen. Some services do not need to be shown and students will never select those themselves while signing in, but those services must remain active because we still offer them, just not where the students will need to sign-in (we sign them in on the back end).

  9. We have administrators listed as Tutors, and we would love for the administrator to get an email when a student scans in and is waiting for them in the waiting area so that they can know to have the student come in.

  10. The issue for our school is that we have been mandated to use only Microsoft Teams for our meeting platform. Microsoft Teams unfortunately only offers individual links per meeting so we cannot even use the standard "ConnectLink" for our meetings and have to send a link in the Appointment Notes. Although this system works it is tedious for our Tutors to keep up with and maintain. An integration that would automatically generate the link for students would be awesome!

  12. Add options to view the Session Logs that Tutors have "not completed the assessment" or "have completed it". This would help without having to run the report.

  13. I would like to see a Course Coverage view in Accudemia to see what Tutors are available on a Calendar for specific Subject Areas. This would ensure that I have Tutors scheduled to cover all times through out the Center open times.

  14. This feature would eliminate TONS of work on our part. While trying to earn funds out of our center, the auditor needs to see that the students are not attending the center while they should be in class. Even if we had a flag, this would alert us to check the times and report only the time the student is not scheduled for class. Although the class schedules upload we can't really do what we need to and must cross reference login times/session at the center with the students schedules manually for FTE (money earned for contact hours) to insure…

  15. When looking at all appointments for a Center, you should be able to sort by service type. It's so much more useful than by student or tutor.

  17. A "Refresh" button added to the "View All Appointments' page would be beneficial for tutors to keep on top of their incoming appointments.

    The "Refresh" button in the "Manage Zone" is very helpful to be able to refresh the page.

  19. We need a report that shows how many hours each tutor is scheduled in our center each week (how many hours they are available). It would also provide the total number of hours scheduled each week for the center overall. This will help us in regards to tracking our student worker budget.

  20. As center administrators, we spend all day using four or five of the functions in Accudemia to monitor and manage appointments. The functions we need exist in the system, but we do a lot of repetitive clicking that might be avoidable. Would Engineerica designers consider conducting a user study? I’m sure some administrators would be glad to record and narrate the interactions we have with the system over some minutes, and it could reveal ways to significantly enhance the everyday administrative experience in the system.
