Accudemia Suggestions

Hi Accudemia Users! Each Accudemia user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.

Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

  1. Add options to view the Session Logs that Tutors have "not completed the assessment" or "have completed it". This would help without having to run the report.

  2. Our timeslots are valuable, because we provide tutoring as a free service to the students of our school. It wastes resources when clients no-show and our policy is that after two no-shows, we drop their appointments. It would be nice if Accudemia cancelled the appointments automatically instead of having my staff or myself do it manually.

  3. There are actually a few ideas with this but it all revolves around appointment creation.

    1. Creating Appointments via New by Staff
      When you select a center the Staff section should be filtered by which staff work in that center. Currently you can select a center and pick ANY staff even if that staff does not work in that center.

    2. Creating Appointment via Wizard
      After choosing subject area the next selection should be center instead of services. This way when you get to the services screen only the services for that center show instead of showing every service. By adding the…

  4. Currently, you can specify subject area assignments for each tutor, but not assign tutors to services. This means that every schedule block for every tutor needs to be set manually when adding the schedule. This is time consuming and creates the probability that mistakes will be make, and students will end up booking appointments with tutors who can't help them. We should be able to specify service assignments for tutors, or at least specify a default when they create new schedule blocks, rather than it defaulting to all services.

  7. Some tutors are forgetting to log out when they are done with their sessions so when I see their reports I see logout 24 hours later. I would like to add in setting max hours they can tutor like it setup on the Student side.

  8. Since we have tutors for different content areas (Math, Science, Business, and Computer Science), I would like to be able to generate a daily viewer by the content area of the tutors. It would also work to make the option to select multiple tutors when looking at the tutor schedule. That way I can let students know when there would be someone in the center to help with a certain subject.

  9. You already have this report with visits so it should be very easy to add it by unique visitors.
    Add Report: Unique Visitor by Day. Should exist under traffic analysis Under the traffic analysis, (Student Reports> List based> visit by week)

  10. When the student signs out, it would be nice if they were sent an email automatically (same as when they make their appointment) that contains the details of the session (date, time, focus, etc) and any comments/session logs put in for that session.

  12. Appointments who are signed in appear in red (a no show color) until they are signed out and then turn to blue. It can be confusing for signed in students to appear in red as a no show when they are actually in session. Perhaps appointments can appear green while their in session until they are signed out and go back to blue.

  14. Adding "Groups" as a filter for reports under "Referral Details". This is something that can be done with other reports, but not this one. This is is where it would help to have it. This would make filter information to the key groups easier and save time. Since it can be done for other reports, I'm hoping it can be something that can be added to this.

  15. We have two issues with the “Staff Pay Report” (Tutor Hours Report) in PDF. The first issue is that the report creates blank. The second issue is that, after printing the blank page, sometimes the first line is overlapping the second line.

  16. We have some issues about improving the Accudemia Sign In Screen. Our goal is to avoid confusion for our students whom automatically select “Guest Sign In” instead of the “Arrow” for sign in. The tracking information that we collected is incorrect for the reason that some students to have sign in again in the correct form in order to get tutoring. However, the guest tracking information continues in the system, so it is double

  17. For our tutoring assessment forms, we don't have the ability to include section numbers, and many of our instructors teach multiple sections of the same class, so there is a lot of leg work in including the section number on our side or theirs.

    Being able to choose what information I can get in my reports would be incredibly beneficial to the instructors and myself. At the moment, I find most of the pre-determined reports to be lacking in vital information.

  18. I would like to be able to put "In Class" and "Gone for today" as options for the tutor's schedule so that students and I can see when they're not available to work due to class and when they're not able to make it in for their shift. The only current options are "Available" "Not Available" and "Not Working".

  20. AccuSQL had a field in which you could create different tutor levels/types and assign them differing pay rates. These levels were used by us to indicate those who had gone through intermediate and advanced tutor training, which would be helpful to have again. We also planned on looking into using Accudemia to track hours worked for our desk workers, peer guides, and SI leaders, each of whom may have different pay rates.
