Hi Accudemia Users! Each Accudemia user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.

Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

  1. Can only search by one status currently. Would be helpful to select multiple criteria such as new, follow-up, requires attention but not closed, for example.

  2. Our timeslots are valuable, because we provide tutoring as a free service to the students of our school. It wastes resources when clients no-show and our policy is that after two no-shows, we drop their appointments. It would be nice if Accudemia cancelled the appointments automatically instead of having my staff or myself do it manually.

  4. Currently, you can specify subject area assignments for each tutor, but not assign tutors to services. This means that every schedule block for every tutor needs to be set manually when adding the schedule. This is time consuming and creates the probability that mistakes will be make, and students will end up booking appointments with tutors who can't help them. We should be able to specify service assignments for tutors, or at least specify a default when they create new schedule blocks, rather than it defaulting to all services.

  6. Appointments who are signed in appear in red (a no show color) until they are signed out and then turn to blue. It can be confusing for signed in students to appear in red as a no show when they are actually in session. Perhaps appointments can appear green while their in session until they are signed out and go back to blue.

  7. When we are assigning the tutors subject areas in Accudemia it is difficult to quickly find the subjects because that page does not display the Subject Area Prefix+Code (i.e. MAT-101). I think it would be a great help if that column was added to this screen. :)

  9. By adding a "Display Position Number" in a drop-down box with the number of announcements currently in Accudemia it would be a simple way to allow a College Administrator to organize the announcements that get displayed on the "My Homepage" screen when the users login.

  10. Under Traffic Analysis right now users can get exact counts of users by day. But an average over a length of time would be helpful to determine how busy centers are for that same length of time.

    Example
    Now:
    Time Peroid - 5 weeks

    Suggested

  12. Student Alternate IDs can be included in an upload. It would be great to be able to do this with instructor alternate IDs as well. Our instructors typically use an alternate and not their ID number for systems. Most don't even know it. Doing this manually seems tedious and unnecessary.

  13. We have some issues about improving the Accudemia Sign In Screen. Our goal is to avoid confusion for our students whom automatically select “Guest Sign In” instead of the “Arrow” for sign in. The tracking information that we collected is incorrect for the reason that some students to have sign in again in the correct form in order to get tutoring. However, the guest tracking information continues in the system, so it is double

  14. We have two issues with the “Staff Pay Report” (Tutor Hours Report) in PDF. The first issue is that the report creates blank. The second issue is that, after printing the blank page, sometimes the first line is overlapping the second line.

  17. Currently I can only limit the Subject Areas to show based on the Subject Areas we offer assistance with at the Center. I would like to be able to define what Student Groups can utilize specified Services for Walk-ins or Appointments.

  18. Some instructors also take courses, but their account gets deactivated when they are no longer enrolled. Ignoring the deactivation checkbox when a student account has additional user roles would prevent this.

  19. Based on the student's schedule, the system would know when the student would be eligible to go off-campus, to the cafeteria, or to the library. If the student tries to scan in to the cafeteria when they are supposed to be in class, a bold and big alert would pop up to indicate that they cannot enter the cafeteria but need to go to class. This is a feature that is in Accutrack, but we request this feature to be added to Accudemia.

At our high schools, due to the #minutes per class and the 7 minute passing periods, appointments are not set on a 15 minute interval, but rather vary from 25 minutes, to 20 minutes, to 15 minutes. It would be great to customize the exact time schedule (across all students for a center) so that students can sign up for the actual appointment time that corresponds to their bell schedule. (eg: 7:15, 7:40, 8:00, 8:20, 8:40, 9:15, 9:35... 10:55, 11:10, 11:30, 11:45...)
