Hi Accudemia Users! Each Accudemia user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.

Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

  1. We need a report that shows how many hours each tutor is scheduled in our center each week (how many hours they are available). It would also provide the total number of hours scheduled each week for the center overall. This will help us in regards to tracking our student worker budget.

  2. There are 5 specific appointment emails that go out. These 2 with pretty much with every appointment:
    1. Appointment Confirmation to Student (goes out when created)
    2. Appointment Reminder to Student
    And these (if the situation occurs):
    1. Appointment Rescheduled to Student
    2. Appointment Restored to Student
    3. Appointment Cancelled to Student

    We would like a template that sends out when appointment notes are added. For example: If a tutor wanted to share resources before or even after the appointment.

  3. For example, my writing tutors could have a checklist of common writing issues so they can indicate what was worked on. Coaching sessions need their own sort of assessment as well. All of these happen in the same physical center but the services are very distinct.

  4. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are all critical to the field of public education as the student populace grows increasingly diverse. I think a "Preferred Name" feature within the User Accounts menu would be a critical addition. The "Preferred Name" feature would take precedence over the current "First Name" option, and it would be used as the display name when the client's name or tutor's name is displayed to another user (such as on the scheduling menu, upcoming appointments window, confirmation emails, etc.).

  5. Instead of requiring the student (or staff) to click "View All" to get to the Edit/Cancel/Reschedule options, put those buttons right in the Appointment Details panel that opens when the appointment is clicked on the main screen. I've had students request a cancellation by typing in the appointment notes since they did not find the cancel button.

  6. We are having Tutors accidentally connect to the O365 Integration and not showing up as available for appointments. Please allow us as admin to disable this feature account wide.

  8. Instead of importing users through batches with CSV files, it'd be great if your SSO implementation supported additional attributes and auto account creation. You could use this info to update existing users automatically upon their next login. Accudemia could also fill in information that's either missing or create a new accounts if there isn't a matching user.

For both types of restrictions (Student-Tutor Associations and Service-Subject Area Associations), it would be more functional if we could create negative restrictions rather than positive associations. I.e. if the default were that anything that didn't have an association was unrestricted, so that only the associations we actively create have an effect, and if associations could be set up for which courses a service would NOT work with and which tutors a student could NOT book.   10. Whichever users is selected under user schedule isn't in the title so you know which user you are editing at a given point and time.

    Would also be nice within schedule to be able to differentiate virtual availability and face to face availability

  12. When Accudemia is running slowly students assume that the system is down because they do not see the "Loading" message. Currently the message is incredibly small and in the upper right hand corner of the screen. It would be helpful if it was larger and in the center of the screen.

  13. When creating the referral, the options ask us to choose a class, then choose the student. However, ALL student names are "suggested" instead of only those in the class that was selected. Populate the student names in the chosen class..

  14. There are terms for Instructors, Students, and Tutors....add more terms/options. I am an Advisor, specific to an Advising Center. An additional ADVISOR term will be very useful regarding the appointment feature because currently, only tutors can use Accudemia for appointments, but students make advising appointments too. Also, Advisors are listed under "Services" in the Center feature.

  16. I would like to have the ability to hide (a check box would be great) classroom attendance and classroom absences from students and instructors. This is a feature we are not currently using at our institution.

  17. We are using single sign on to allow students to check their own hours through our portal. Set it up so that students have location and subject filters if they want to see only the hours they have in a particular location or course.

  18. Under the location option add in an option to select services also. I know there is an option by service in the report but it just lumps them into a total. If they could be selected with the location then the numbers for
    By week
    By day of the week
    By day and hour of the week
    By hour and day of the week
    could be filtered for services that are no longer offered to compare to current offerings.

  19. On the New Student screen there is a General Information tab and a Profile tab. I am wondering if you can change the General Information tab? The Gender question only lists Male and Female, not Transgender or Other. We have asked the same question on the Profile page with those extra options, but don’t want to duplicate the question if possible. Also, it would be nice to have both the General Information questions and the Profile questions on the same page so students don’t have to click on a separate page.

  20. For virtual centers with no physical meeting space, it makes no sense to require sign-ins and sign-outs. An automatic sign-in/sign-out option would be very helpful.
