Accudemia Suggestions

Hi Accudemia Users! Each Accudemia user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.

Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

  1. Doing this would allow more selections per page especially in Center Assignments, mass inactivation, simply viewing all the results of a filtered search on one page, etc.

  2. If I search for a set of students based on the class filter lets say then after I edit one of those students it should go back to my previous view. Not reload the default sort and filters (which the sort is usually on the first column and it's without any filters).

  3. The report is great that it groups the Tutor's appointments together but unfortunately they all show in order of student's name instead of the time and date of the appointment. It would be nice to see them sorted in these groups in chronological order.

    The report is already chronological but is grouped by the tutor's appointments.  If you do not want to see the groupings then please export this to the CSV format and use the MS Excel sort functions to sort by date.

  4. By adding a "Display Position Number" in a drop-down box with the number of announcements currently in Accudemia it would be a simple way to allow a College Administrator to organize the announcements that get displayed on the "My Homepage" screen when the users login.

  5. Allow filling out comments and tutoring assessment in Session Logs for multiple students at once. This would allow us to update an entire class's info from a class visit to the Center.

  7. We can generate a report for a group of tutors (by current term). That report shows their ID, Name, Gender and Birthdate. We don't need to see gender and birthdate. We would like to see the Contact info: E-mail and Phone number. This would be a much more useful list for coordinators and support staff.

  8. currently only one to one, profile:usergroup for imports. We need to run multiple imports for our needs. allowing multiple mapping for user groups would be more efficient.

  9. Under appointments, under back to back restrictions, give the ability to separate appointments by more than up to 999 minutes. We have a 1 appointment/subject/week rule that we can't enforce the way it's currently written. And/or restrict based on SUBJECT rather than TUTOR.

  10. The system is auto-logs students out @ 11:59 PM. It would be great if the system allowed session logs that start & end on different dates.

  11. It would be nice to see the Tutor photo when a student is trying to find a specific Tutor and they don't know their name. Maybe seperate the tutor selection on another screen or have the tutor's image appear to the right.

  13. Our center only allows group tutoring for budget purposes. I would like for the program to be able to block out other available sessions/ tutor's schedule until groups with less than the max number of tutees are filled.

  15. Please allow the capability to designate specific learning center(s) that each system user can manage. This can be placed in the Centers and Classroom area. This way we know who manages what areas.

  18. This makes more logical sense because we are wanting to know the services first and foremost, then which subject area and their instructor (using registration auto selects instructor for the most part), and finally if they know the tutor they want to meet with selecting this option.

  19. It would be incredibly useful to be able to look up a student/user and see all of their data/information compiled in one place. Please add all data related to the Student on the Edit Student screen, including appointments and visits information.

  20. We have for example a certain center that we only want users from a particular group to be able to use. There is no classes associated with this center. The only distinguishing these students have is that they are part of a scholarship program that has an area that is funded by grants. Only these students should be able to checkin to this center.
