Accudemia Suggestions

Hi Accudemia Users! Each Accudemia user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.

Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

Thanks for sending us your feedback!

  4. It would be great to have the ability to view and compare the number of appointments filled versus go unfilled on a daily, weekly, monthly, semester basis. This will help us with how to market our services or when we can pull tutors into special departmental project collaborations, team meetings, or alter our business hours. Thank you Accudemia Team!

  5. Reports/Student ID. 1. Suggests giving all reports the student id/data as option to add. 2. The Tutoring Assessment Detailed Report w/Columns report doesn't have the college student id (like Session Log w/Survey Results incl. - Student Data. Please add the student ID to this report so we don't have to put it on the tutors to enter a student id in via an Assessment/or we do a v-lookup to merge the ID into the report. 3. It would be great to have the Assessment tutors use in Session Logs as an available option for any reports that have the word…

  8. Adding "Groups" as a filter for reports under "Referral Details". This is something that can be done with other reports, but not this one. This is is where it would help to have it. This would make filter information to the key groups easier and save time. Since it can be done for other reports, I'm hoping it can be something that can be added to this.

  9. AccuSQL had a field in which you could create different tutor levels/types and assign them differing pay rates. These levels were used by us to indicate those who had gone through intermediate and advanced tutor training, which would be helpful to have again. We also planned on looking into using Accudemia to track hours worked for our desk workers, peer guides, and SI leaders, each of whom may have different pay rates.

Being able to track pay rates in Accudemia based on user groups, as opposed to having to manually add those when submitting to student payroll, would be a…

  12. It would be helpful if there was a button or something so that you could alphabetize the list of students that are signed into a center so that you could find them easier. Doing Ctrl-f is not very convenient.

  13. Staff are inadvertently creating duplicate user accounts in our testing centers. This is not an import issue. These students may never attend our college, they are taking placement/CLEP tests. We have them use their phone number and we wish to track these sessions. I suggest giving administrators the ability to merge duplicate accounts to not lose the data gathered. Currently, I cannot even edit the duplicates either within Session logs or User accounts. This is causing incorrect data within my reports.

  14. This option allows an Advising Center to offer 4 15-minute time-slots per hours but the Tutoring Center can only show 2 30-minute time-slots per hour. As it stands with only a College-level Calendar; If a student tries to make an appointment for a 15 minutes when they are only seeing 30-minute blocks then assume that they can only be done on the half-hour mark. Or in the case where the 4 15-minute blocks are enabled then the center trying to only allow 30 minute blocks will get stopped and have to go back and re-select a time-slot if they accidentally…

  15. Right now we can only use a center setting to put an hour or appointment limit in place on tutors. But this affects every tutor and holds them to the same limit. However, our tutors don't all work the same number of hours each week (or even need the restriction) so it would be helpful if we could restrict them on an individual tutor level, versus a center level.

  16. We would like to be able to schedule certain appointment times and not allow students to schedule for other times. For example, a certain center wants to have appointments available at 9:30, 10:15, 11:00, 11:45, etc. The appointments are to be 30 minutes each with 15 minutes for the advisor to have a break or write up any notes. We can block the 15 minutes out but then the previous 15 minute increment is still available for the student to attempt to make an appointment. Our setting for 30 minute appointments will not allow the student to book that 15…

  17. We need to have some permissions set to the College-level (reports/views) but restrict admin functions like Edit Student Session Logs at the Center-level for each System User/Admin.

  18. When the student signs out, it would be nice if they were sent an email automatically (same as when they make their appointment) that contains the details of the session (date, time, focus, etc) and any comments/session logs put in for that session.

  19. There are faculty with multiple entries, due to upload errors. The errors were not discovered until after the previous semesters had ended. It would be nice to be able to go into Accudemia, when that happens, and just check both entries, and click 'merge' or something so that it can reconcile the duplicate entry and not lose the associated class data.

  20. Our nursing program has 12 classes all first year students should be registered to in out program, second year has 13 classes, etc. This would save us time creating the import files manually to register all these students in each individual course/subject area/classes.
