Accudemia Suggestions

Hi Accudemia Users! Each Accudemia user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.

Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

  1. Add a Student Group filter on the Center Attendance > Sign-In/Out Screen

    We now have the ability to filter on a class to sign them in but I need a group filter so I only see a group of students in the system as well. I have a group that meets every week and they are not in the same class so I would like a Student Group filter so I can find them.

  4. Keep a log of Administrative Changes made in Accudemia by System Users

    This would help determine who made changes to Accudemia to bypass rules in place or determine who caused a major issue by changing a process in Accudemia that affected other areas, etc. Basically used to keep accountability of our System Users.

  5. hide tutor last names and just have first initial of last name.

    Is it possible to hide the tutors full last name and only share the first initial of the last name?

  6. Remove My Profile and My Settings from students

    Students often make changes to their profile and don't remember what they have done. The only useful thing they change is their pass word, which is allowed at log in page by clicking "Forgot my password"

    For students I like an ability to remove "My Profile" and "My Settings"

  7. Allow for grades to be imported and stored.. both MidTerm and Final.

    We often have the need to see grade information. Please allow for this to be stored on accudemia.

  8. Allow an individual meeting during a semester long class to be excluded from the absent/attendance summaries

    Right now you need to look at a completed report, take a quick note of how many classes had no attendance, and factor that in to your total count of absences. The same way a one time meeting/class is added, you should be able to exclude a date from being in the final to adjust this final tally.

    *This is accuclass, it may not apply to other product solutions.

  10. e-mail templates for the cancellation notification includes a CC field

    When student cancels an appointment center admin are not notified so they are now aware of the schedule changes.

  14. Add "Clone" option to the Tutoring Assessment surveys

    This would make this easier to repeat the same survey for another time period. This could be replaced with the idea "to add a date filter on all the reports."

  15. Include ALL student/user related data to the EDIT STUDENT screen

    It would be incredibly useful to be able to look up a student/user and see all of their data/information compiled in one place. Please add all data related to the Student on the Edit Student screen, including appointments and visits information.

  16. Add a response at sign in when no tutor is available.

    "there is no tutor available at this time, the next available tutor will be in at xx:xx"

    This would be populated by the tutor schedule for the particular Center (tutoring lab).

  17. Ability to designate some system users the ability to manage specific learning centers

    Please allow the capability to designate specific learning center(s) that each system user can manage. This can be placed in the Centers and Classroom area. This way we know who manages what areas.

  18. Allow group tutoring only -It would be useful to be able to prohibit a tutee from seeing tutors schedule until a group is filled up.

    Our center only allows group tutoring for budget purposes. I would like for the program to be able to block out other available sessions/ tutor's schedule until groups with less than the max number of tutees are filled.

  20. Show Tutor photo at sign-in

    It would be nice to see the Tutor photo when a student is trying to find a specific Tutor and they don't know their name. Maybe seperate the tutor selection on another screen or have the tutor's image appear to the right.
