Accudemia Suggestions

Hi Accudemia Users! Each Accudemia user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.

Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

  1. This option allows an Advising Center to offer 4 15-minute time-slots per hours but the Tutoring Center can only show 2 30-minute time-slots per hour. As it stands with only a College-level Calendar; If a student tries to make an appointment for a 15 minutes when they are only seeing 30-minute blocks then assume that they can only be done on the half-hour mark. Or in the case where the 4 15-minute blocks are enabled then the center trying to only allow 30 minute blocks will get stopped and have to go back and re-select a time-slot if they accidentally…

  2. Staff are inadvertently creating duplicate user accounts in our testing centers. This is not an import issue. These students may never attend our college, they are taking placement/CLEP tests. We have them use their phone number and we wish to track these sessions. I suggest giving administrators the ability to merge duplicate accounts to not lose the data gathered. Currently, I cannot even edit the duplicates either within Session logs or User accounts. This is causing incorrect data within my reports.

  4. We need to be able to state that this is their "Official School Email" so they don't use a personal email in place of their original school email.

  5. Reports/Student ID. 1. Suggests giving all reports the student id/data as option to add. 2. The Tutoring Assessment Detailed Report w/Columns report doesn't have the college student id (like Session Log w/Survey Results incl. - Student Data. Please add the student ID to this report so we don't have to put it on the tutors to enter a student id in via an Assessment/or we do a v-lookup to merge the ID into the report. 3. It would be great to have the Assessment tutors use in Session Logs as an available option for any reports that have the word…

  6. It would be great to have the ability to view and compare the number of appointments filled versus go unfilled on a daily, weekly, monthly, semester basis. This will help us with how to market our services or when we can pull tutors into special departmental project collaborations, team meetings, or alter our business hours. Thank you Accudemia Team!

  9. The ability to count visit towards appointment if a student stays signed in for a certain time limit to the virtual session. This option in available for face-to-face tutoring, but not virtual sessions. This is under the Appointments section of the Control Panel.

  10. Currently we noticed that students can only upload on document per appointment and this would be super helpful to allow them to submit multiple assignments/documents per appointment scheduled.

  11. We noticed that I can send the reports to "All Tutors", "All Instructors", "Individuals". etc. but it would be nice to find "User Groups" to send out on a regular basis.

  12. We would like to be able to create custom statuses with different color options on the Tutor Schedule. In TutorTrak we could do this on individual Tutor Schedule.

  14. Once you setup an appointment to recur every week it then gets treated as an individual appointment. It would be nice to have a way to reschedule the group of recurring appointments in Accudemia. Instead, I have to reschedule each one individually. All of our tutors schedule their timeslots to a student throughout that semester so it would be helpful if there were group actions for these recurring appointments.

  16. We can only create recurring appointments using the New Appointment screen, but there are some services that we don't want students to have the option to select, so we removed them from the options they can access.

    For those services, someone in our center schedules the appointment using the New Appointment: Admin feature. However, you cannot select an option to make the appointment recurring there. Please add the recurring option to this feature.

  19. During the summer, we have a long session and two shorter sessions that all overlap. My tutors are only able to put their schedules in manually week-by-week because if they use the term mode, it puts them in for the entire summer session and allows people to schedule appointments with them when their course is actually not in session. It takes us a long time to input their schedules manually in the exception mode.

  20. Adding this option will make the appointment schedulers behave differently for an Admin vs. a Student. The Student will only see the services that we allow whereas the Admin will see all the services. Alternatively, Accudemia could allow the New Appointment (Admin) scheduler to make "recurring appointments" and "group appointments" for students (just like the student scheduler).
