Accudemia Suggestions

Hi Accudemia Users! Each Accudemia user can add requests and/or vote on existing requests. You can give each request 1 to 3 votes to reflect its importance. Note that each user is limited to 10 votes, so make sure to use your votes on your most important requests. Requests with more votes have higher implementation priority.

Important: Use your academic email address to vote. Those from generic addresses (such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, etc) will be removed. Voting multiple users from the same college will not give additional priority.

  2. In the email templates we can put key field values into the Subject line. It'd be great to be able to put them in the From line as well. That way we can be more specific, e.g. From: #Appointment_Center# at the College.

    It would be easier to read without the seconds.

  5. I would like to have the ability to create a unique link for a sign-in station and not the cookie method. We use cheap Chromebooks as sign-in station computers and when the Chromebooks restart, they lose the cookie due to the kiosk mode we are using. I can set up the Chromebook to automatically load a predetermined link for each center using the google admin console. By using a unique link I would not have to set it up every time it reboots.

  6. Our virtual services include some tutors who have sessions using Google Chat and we would like to include some how-to information in the appointment emails. Other colleges could have different information related to tutors that is pertinent to appointments. If a Description field could be added and made available in Email Templates, it would enable us to provide that tutor-information to students without extra communications.

  7. Can we edit the virtual sign-in links past just the description and expiration date? I cannot locate where I put the link or need to update the link it connects to, can we edit the connect link and have access to the sign-in link after we create the link?

  8. When using the Outlook 365 Integration please have all the appointment details in the body of the calendar invite similar to the body of the email with the "Appointment.ics" calendar invite. We are hoping that the body of the calendar invite can include the Student Email, Student ID, Services, Subject Area, and Notes. This will help us by not needing to get email notifications since our Outlook calendar will be up to date and include all the information we need to reach out to the student.

  9. When students view the Daily Viewer it would be helpful if they could hover over the tutors name to view the Bio. So if they are looking at the tutor schedule for the day they could hover over the tutor name to view what subjects they tutor in without making an appointment. This would assist walk in students in knowing if there was a tutor available for the subject they need assistance with.

  10. In the Appointment Details window, there are 10 labels. All except "Services:" are singular; that one item is plural. Please make it conform.
    (Same problem in "Quick/New appt (admin)"; might also be an issue in email templates)

  11. When we do referrals or have unique situations where a student can only register an appointment with one tutor, we would like to be able to restrict the student's ability to make appointments with other tutors based on a school policy/referral even though other tutors could help.
